A Cool Dip

Well, a moderate summer (in Texas terms) has now turned into a hot summer with temperatures at 100 every day and no end in sight. We’ve been so lucky this summer to have water in our creek; the rains from Hurricane Alex back in June kept the creek going, much to the delight of the dogs. They get to go play in the creek two times a day on our walks.

Day after day of these high temperatures has really slowed the creek down this week, though, and this next week will probably see the flow stop until the next rain, whenever that might be. We thought we’d take a little video of the dogs’ cool dip to enjoy until the creek starts flowing again!

Have a cool weekend!

Wish we were with you and your dogs in that creek. The temp was 106 in north Texas yesterday. Thanks for sharing.
