It’s hard to believe that November starts Monday (maybe because it’s almost 90 degrees here today!) We’ve got a lot new for the month:
New Pages
This weekend, we worked on our Pages (the top line on the navigation bar that appears on every page); unlike Posts, they don’t get sent out in our newsletter and sometimes just get overlooked. Here’s what’s new:
- About Us We’ve had this page since the start of DogTipper but it’s all new now.
- DogTipper Press Kit
- Barkonomics Press Kit A special press kit for our new book, Barkonomics: Tips for Frugal Fidos.

Vote for Your Favorite Pet Non-Profit
Did you know that 20 percent of the proceeds from the sale of our new book, Barkonomics: Tips for Frugal Fidos, will go to the pet non-profit selected by the readers of DogTipper? To vote for your favorite shelter, rescue, or other pet non-profit, go to the Barkonomics page and vote in the form at the bottom of the page! The non-profit with the most votes at the end of December will receive the donation! You can vote as often as you like (and voting is anonymous).

Texas Pet Expo
We’re getting ready for our booth at the Texas Pet Expo next weekend! We just got in our banners…Tiki seems to approve! We’re going to be doing giveaways at the Expo so please drop by our booth and say hi if you’re in the Dallas-Fort Worth area next weekend!
Dog of the Year
Psst…we’ll soon be launching a Dog of the Year photo contest complete with a trophy for the winning dog! We’ll announce all the details soon but wanted to give you a head’s up so you can start picking your favorite photo of your dog (or grab that camera and get busy!)
Holiday Blog Hop for Pets
From November 18-25, we’ll be co-hosting (with Life with Dogs and Two Little Cavaliers) the Holiday Blog Hop for Pets featuring giveaways across the web with prizes for pets and pet lovers. If you have a blog, be sure to sign up to publicize your blog and your giveaway! Details
Big Social Media Giveaway Coming Up
