Tomorrow’s the big day: our Bravos XL High-Efficiency Washer and Dryer will be delivered!! In preparation for tomorrow’s 9am delivery, we’ve been busy doing a quick laundry room remodel. Our laundry room was originally a back porch that housed our washer and dryer. Not long after we got married, we closed off the back porch, putting in much of the back wall with screws because we knew that one day we’d need to change the washer and/or dryer… the back door was too narrow. Well, two decades later, that day is arriving tomorrow!
John’s gotten everything ready for tomorrow’s delivery then, when we reassemble, we’re going to look at installing a window in the laundry room. It’s just a laundry room…but once I saw the view when the wall was down, I realized how nice a window would be. The laundry room would overlook the creek!
So tomorrow I’ll be back, hopefully, with photos of our new washer and dryer! I can’t wait to try out the new machines and tell you all about them. As you know, we’re in the country and using well water so we’re always, always needing to conserve water. I’m so excited about this high-efficiency washer for that! And I’m really looking forward to being able to wash large loads (like dog beds!) as well!
And I’ll be repainting much of the laundry room once the machines are in place…I want the room to look as pretty as the new appliances!
