It’s hard to believe that 2013 is now underway! We want to wish everyone a very happy, healthy, and prosperous new year!!
We’ve been hard at work on DogTipper over the holidays to add some new features for the coming year. We’ll be rolling them out in the coming days and weeks. One new feature is actually an old feature..the 365 column! Last year I started this column as a daily photo tip but, for this year, decided that every day I would just feature a photo (or two…or three…) and update you on what we’re working on here, highlight some news I wanted to share, or get your opinion on a topic. I think it will be fun!
I hope everyone had a wonderful New Year’s Eve last night! We had a quiet evening at home with our own party animals:
Irie, who has a fear of fireworks (and thunder), did well with her Thundershirt (and a new marrow bone), at least until midnight when the fireworks really cranked up. After a mad dash through the house, though, she jumped on the bed and dove under the covers and did well the rest of the night.
Today, with a very chilly (by our standards) start to the new year, we enjoyed our first hike of 2013:
And, of course, we had to come home and have our black-eyed peas to ensure good luck this year! Happy New Year!
