As you know, we’ve spent the last two decades as full-time travel writers. We traveled — a lot — on assignment, working in locations that ranged from the Bahamas to Borneo, Egypt to Ecuador, Malaysia to Morocco. Along the way, we produced 30 guidebooks and nearly 3,000 magazine and newspaper articles.
In 2008, with the adoption of Tiki and Irie, we launched DogTipper. Since that time, we’ve updated some of our longtime guidebooks, written a few in-cabin guidebooks for cruise lines, and continued with some freelance article assignments as we shifted most of our effort into pet writing.
But we’ve been working on a way to bring together our past experience and present interests…and we’ve found it. Next week we’ll announce the next step for DogTipper, one we’re super excited about and eager to begin. We want to make sure we have all our ducks — well, dogs — in a row before we share the news but, first, we wanted to share some photos from our previous freelance days…and some from our current work!
And, speaking of photos, we wanted to remind everyone to submit their Super Dog Sunday™ photos! The deadline for entry is Sunday before the kickoff of the big game; don’t forget that we’ve got over $1500 in prizes! Belong you’ll see the entries so far; click on any photo for a larger version…and please send in your entries!
