We’re so excited to finally share our big news: we’re going to be hosting a live, one-hour radio show every week!
As our regular readers know, we came to the pet field after over 20 years (and nearly 30 guidebooks) in the travel field. We traveled on assignment, writing and photographing destinations around the world for projects that ranged from Fodor’s guidebooks to numerous in-cabin guides for Carnival Cruises.
But in 2008, our passion turned to pets, and we couldn’t have been happier. Since launching DogTipper, we’ve returned to the roots of our travel writing: day trips and domestic travel but with Irie and Tiki.
Just last week, though, the opportunity came up for us to combine all our professional experience with a new radio show: DogTipper.com’s Dog Travel Experts. The show will be part of Tracie Hotchner’s new Radio Pet Lady Network. Hugely popular with pet lovers, Tracie is launching the network following her radio show on the Martha Stewart channel on SiriusXM; she’s also a veteran of NPR. The new Internet radio network will feature shows by Tracie as well many other very well known names in the pet world. We’ll bring you more on the network in future posts as we count down to the launch of our new show on March 6!
Our show will be broadcast every Wednesday from 3-4pm ET, then replaying every day in that same time slot until the following Wednesday. During the live broadcast, you’ll be able to call in and ask us your travel questions, learn more about some of our favorite destinations, and be introduced to new products for dog travelers. And, of course, we’ll have some great giveaways!
Stay tuned for MUCH more on this new development; we know you’ll be just as excited as we are as DogTipper expands and gets better than ever!
