Happy Holidays + Changes for 2019!

Share with fellow dog lovers!

Merry Christmas, happy holidays, and an early wish for a great 2019 for you all! We’ve had a nice, quiet day at home with Tiki and Barli, and Inca, Lucky and Jetty. With Barli’s puppy energy, this year has been a treeless one for us, although we’ve had plenty of lighting decorations that really made it feel like the holidays.

This morning, Barli celebrated his very first Christmas; he was a little unsure about those loosely wrapped gifts that Tiki was eyeing:

Tiki quickly showed him that you just rip into that paper to uncover the treasure below (in this case, Icelandic+ lamb horns. Since they’re not bone but are keratin, like fingernails, Tiki can have them even though she’s had extractions.)

Barli quickly caught up to Tiki…he hasn’t put his new chew down the entire day!

And we’ve been busy with some behind the scenes work here on DogTipper! We’ve made some exciting changes that you’ll be seeing in the coming days:

  • DogTipper will now focus on tips for day trips with your dog, from out of town excursions to tips on running errands with your dog!
  • A special DogGone Texas section, almost a blog within a blog, will cover Texas getaways and day trips. If you’re planning a trip in Texas or just want to follow along with Tiki and Barli’s adventures, we hope you enjoy it!
  • We’re kicking off a new pet holiday blog on PawZaar; watch for more on that soon! We know the pet holiday posts and pet holiday calendar have been so popular with many of you, especially rescues who use it for planning throughout the year, so watch for even more on that topic on this new blog!

So this coming week might be a little quieter than usual as we work behind the scenes. Stay tuned, though, it’s going to be an exciting change for 2019, and we can’t wait!
