Sure to be the cat’s meow to feline fanciers (myself included,) Animal Planet debuts Must Love Cats, a kitty-centric compilation of quirky cat stories, on February 12 at 8 pm E/PT.
Host John Fulton– a musician whose muse for his “kitty ditties” is the mews of purring pals– will take cat lovers on a six-part incredible journey across the country in search of fascinating felines and their two-legged family members, which invites those who are passionate about pets to:
- Florida’s Caboodle Ranch, which his home to more than 500 felines and a resident kitty wrangler.
- A Texas town that shows its pride for its resident portly purrers.
- Tour the catnip fields of Washington.
- A luxury hotel which caters to the whims of its permanent purring guest, Matilda, who enjoys a birthday bash at The Algonqiun each year with her tuna-loving chums (such as Helo Bop, the Sphyx who showed up to a past soiree in style.)
- A California “klepto kitty” who steals his neighbor’s belongings…and their hearts.
- Get the scoop on poop coffee beans served at a California coffee house.
- Visit veterans in Washington D.C. to see the close bond formed between the nation’s heroes and their four-pawed pals.
- Catch a glimpse of a group of glamorpusses who promenade on the cat walk at a New York City feline fashion show.
- Dig deep to find the best kitty litter when he visits a lab in the Midwest.
- Pay a visit to the world’s favorite cartoon kitty Garfield in Indiana.
