Weeks before its October 3, 2008 wide release, many of the two- and four-legged luminaries of the new Disney movie Beverly Hills Chihuahua reunited on the red carpet for the world premiere of the family-friendly flick. Having a doggone good time amongst the glitterati, Rusco and Angel– who play the lead roles of Papi and Chloe– posed for posterity with George Lopez (the voice of Papi) and Jamie Lee Curtis before the lights went down in the theater.

Beverly Hills Chihuahua
was more than a chance to step into the spotlight for Rusco– it was literally a life saver. Adopted from an animal shelter, the Chihuahua mix now has a forever home with one of his trainers on a seven-acre spread on the outskirts of Los Angeles.

Four-year-old Angel, a Deerhead Chihuahua, has a bright future ahead in film. The canine cutie will reteam on the silver screen with one of her Beverly Hills Chihuahua co-stars, Samson (a German Shepherd that portrays former K-9 cop Delgado, voiced by actor Andy Garcia, in the movie) in the upcoming flick Hotel for Dogs.
