A proud parent to four canine companions, actress Kristin Davis understands the need to foster our furry friends during a search to find a pet’s forever home. In recognition of her commitment to fostering abandoned animals, Nick at Nite presented the Sex and The City star with its first Dog’s Best Friend Award during the first annual Worldwide Fido Awards.
Held on October 3, 2008, a passel of pooches ran away with the hearts of voters, who awarded French Bulldog Samson cutest canine, while Boxer Phoebe Buffay garnered an award in the Best Dressed category, and Buddy, a German Shepherd, won the Hero Award before Gabe the Bulldog was presented with the evening’s top prize.
