Having groomed both furry and feathered friends for roles in the Harry Potter series and My Dog Skip, the folks at Birds and Animals Unlimited had no trouble training Coal, a Bearded Collie with no previous acting experience, for his first foray in front of the camera in the 2006 remake of the comedy classic, The Shaggy Dog. The trainers’ skill with man’s best friend will soon be seen on the big screen in the upcoming comedies Marley and Me and Hotel for Dogs.

In the photo taken at the movie’s premiere, it is easy to see that actress Kristin Davis– the proud parent of four pooches– developed a bond with her canine co-star.
