Having acted as the ring bearer at their wedding, lovable Hemingway has long felt like the top dog in the lives of Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz. However, the addition of a precocious pup named Rigby and the impending arrival of the couple’s bundle of joy Bronx Mowgli brought out petulant tendencies in the parents-to-be’s pet, prompting a call to The Dog Whisperer.
Marking the start of National Geographic Channel’s annual Dog Whisperer Week, Cesar Millan teaches the Tinseltown twosome how to curb their bulldog’s boisterous behavior in an episode titled “The Dog Whisperer: Cricket and Hemingway and Rigby,” which airs December 28, 2008 at 8 p.m. ET/PT.
