Unleashed in theaters on January 16th, both the young and the young at heart will enjoy checking out the canines checking in to Hotel For Dogs, a family-friendly flick that lets a number of scene-stealing pooches show off their acting chops. Emma Roberts and Jake T. Austin, the movie’s teen leads, share the screen not only with a Jack Russell Terrier who plays Friday, the kids’ four-footed family member, but also 70 other talented tail-waggers, including Cooper the English Bulldog, Georgia the Boston Terrier, Shep the Border Collie and doggie duo Romeo (a Chinese Crested) and Juliet (a poodle).
For little ones who fall for the “fetch”ing canine cast, FAO Schwartz has released a passel of plush puppy toys based on the characters of the Lois Duncan children’s book.
