"Grey's Anatomy" Star T.R. Knight with His Dogs
Grey's Anatomy star T.R. Knight may have recently stepped in front of the camera on location in an L.A. church to film a scene for the popular doc drama, but behind the scenes the actor's two dogs-- Arrow and Ebony-- were the stars of the show.One of Knight's cuddly canine companions came into the actor's life courtesy of his co-star and pal, Katherine Heigl. A noted dog devotee, the Emmy-winning actress adopted a lovable Lab for her friend's 2007 birthday from Hearts United for Animals, a national no-kill shelter in Nebraska which, according to a report from the Journal Star, often receives donations from the blonde beauty in support of the organizations "sanctuary sweethearts,"-- animals deemed unadoptable due to medical needs, age or personality issues who have found their forever home at the shelter.
