Maria Menounos Attends the Mighty Dog March (includes video)

Known for shining a spotlight on today’s brightest stars, Access Hollywood correspondent Maria Menounos recently watched dogs lap up the limelight at the Mighty Dog March, marking the start of the Mighty Dog Nation. Holding a little rascal named Ruby, the TV personality promoted not only the dog food company’s call to all canines to become citizens of the Mighty Dog Nation, but also the chance for Fidos everywhere to win a role in an upcoming “dogumentary,” Mighty Dog Nation: The Movie, which is scheduled to debut on the Mighty Dog web site in January 2010.

A noted dog devotee, the roving entertainment reporter’s four fur babies were anxiously awaiting Maria Menounos’s return form the event. According to the Boston Herald, the star is the proud parent of a German shepherd called Apollo (who posed for posterity with his human Momma for the pages of Stuff magazine), a poodle who answers to “Athena,” and two bichon frises, whose dog tags read “Benjamin” and “Baby.”
