Sharon Osbourne and Little Bit

Puppy mills, where dogs are raised much like chickens in coops, are one of the saddest and most inhumane of all dog-related offenses…but happy endings do occur. One example is Little Bit, who was rescued from a puppy mill where, in her three-year life, she had given birth six times.
Little Bit was rescued thanks to an undercover operation by Cesar Millan, National Geographic Channel’s Dog Whisperer, and Last Chance for Animals, an animal welfare organization. After surgery and foster care, Little Bit found a forever home with Sharon Osbourne…but it was an addition to the Osbourne family that was pure luck. The matriarch of the well-known clan was walking into a pet store when she was stopped by Last Chance for Animals and had the chance to see Little Bit.
Now, Sharon Osbourne thanks Cesar Millan and Last Chance for Animals for rescuing Little Bit who “is now a new member of the Osbourne family and we love her loads.”

This is a great story. I’ve read about puppymills and think they should be illegal. I’m a great fan of Cesar and good on him and Sharon for taking in this poor little dog.
