Janeane Garofalo, who starred as a veterinarian who dispenses animal advice on air in the 1996 romantic comedy The Truth about Cats & Dogs, knows a few things about canine companions in real life as well. A noted dog devotee, the caustic comedienne has not only fostered a few four-legged friends over the years, but also adopts her pawed pals and has diligently worked with dog rescue organizations.
Kid and Dewey, the funny lady’s two fur babies, are stars in their own right, having made an appearance on The Isaac Mizrahi Show. Kid made an indelible impression when he piddled on the performer during her interview with the fashion guru.
