"Desperate Housewives" Stars Max and Charles Carver Pose with Puppies

Titian-haired twins Max and Charles Carver, better known to TV buffs as Wisteria Lane’s Porter and Preston Scavo on the ABC series Desperate Housewives, made a few tail-wagging chums from Tails of The City Animal Rescue when they visited Melanie Segal’s Rocket Dog Lounge, set up at Hollywood’s Magic Castle.

The Desperate Housewives cast is an ensemble of dog devotees. Nicollette Sheridan– who played maneater Edie for several seasons– is the proud parent of a golden retriever, Yorkshire terrier and a bearded collie/terrier mix; two Cavalier King Charles spaniels and an American Bulldog greet Teri Hatcher when she comes home from a day on the set; Eva Longoria Parker shares her luxurious digs with two dogs– a Maltese and a pug; Kyle MacLachlan’s Jack Russell Terrier and Yorkie/Chihuahua mix have their own web site, and Max and Charles Carver’s small screen Mom Felicity Huffman adopted a black Labrador mix named Tucker in 2006.
