On August 6, 2009, actress and dog lover Glenn Close will appear on The Oprah Winfrey Show, a rebroadcast of a show that originally aired May 15, 2009.
The program discusses Puppies Behind Bars (PBB) and its special program, Dog Tags: Service Dogs for Those Who’ve Served Us. The program features service dogs trained by prison inmates; the dogs go on to serve veterans wounded in the Iraq and Afghanistan wars.
