After sharing the screen with the two Picardy Shepherds who captured the most camera time on the 2005 family dramedy Because of Winn-Dixie, strolling on the set of 101 Dalmatians with a total of 217 tiny tail-wagging co-stars and even wearing a canine costume in Dumb and Dumber, actor Jeff Daniels can definitely be considered a dog devotee.
The silver screen star shares his home with two Australian Shepherds, who stay true to their breed, the actor confided to Movieweb.com. “They herd my wife. She can’t go anywhere in the house, and they’re right with her.” The couple have also been parents to a Chow Shepherd who was abandoned near their home years ago.
