Long associated with pit bull Daddy, Cesar Millan poses with a very different breed for the cover photo of the second issue his new magazine, Cesar’s Way, hitting newsstands December 1, 2009. Samoyeds Mojito and Whitney from Whitecotton Samoyeds of Southern California were photographed by renowned fashion photographer Gilles Bensimon.

Bensimon also photographed the National Geographic Channels’ Dog Whisperer for the story “Daddy, Junior and Me,” capturing a moment with Millan, 15-year-old Daddy, and new addition Junior. In the article, Cesar discusses his selection of Junior. “One puppy, all gray with a little dash of white on his chest, caught my attention almost immediately. Some people — like Dalai Lama, for instance — have this calm energy. So do some dogs. Daddy has it and I quickly realized that this little gray puppy had it too.”
