She may be a dog devotee and the proud parent of two shelter sweethearts named Scout and Deer, but actress Mira Sorvino also holds a place in her heart for our purring pals.
To help the campaign reach its goal of adoption for one million dogs and cats by the end of the year, back in 2007 the Academy Award winner posed with a cuddly kitten while promoting the Hill’s Science Diet Second Chance for Love initiative in 2007, a program which has gone on to find forever homes for more than 2.9 million homeless pets.
