Alicia Witt and Her Dog at Pet Charity Event: Flashback Photo

Looking suave in his scarf, Alicia Witt’s tail-wagging chum Jake posed for posterity with his movie star Momma on the red carpet at a Paws For Style pet charity event back in 2000. The photogenic Fido was adopted by the actress as a puppy at Pet Orphans in Van Nuys, California, where Witt has been known to volunteer.

A star in his own right, the dashing dog– who was frequently spotted on the set of the Sandra Bullock comedy Two Weeks Notice, waiting for his human parent to complete each day’s filming– stepped in front of the cameras with Witt for a webisode of Puppy Love. At the end of the seven-minute short film, the actress also introduces her other canine companion Maggie, who was also adopted at Pet Orphans.
