David Duchovny Walks a Dog

The truth is out there… former X-Files actor David Duchovny is definitely a dog devotee. Having spent his formative years in a family with three dogs and four cats, once stardom beckoned Duchovny continued to share his life with several canine companions, including wife Tea Leoni’s dog George, who remains vivid in their memories after his passing with a work of art commissioned by pet portraitist Cindy Short of Laughing Dog Art Studio, and Blue– a border collie/Jersey collie mix known to fans for lapping up the limelight in an episode of the actor’s cult series.

Duchovny, whose very voice can make our tail-wagging chums salivate thanks to Pedigree dog food commercials, once voiced the opinion of all those passionate about pups: “I love dogs. They live in the moment and don’t care about anything except affection and food. They’re loyal and happy. Humans are just too damn complicated.”
