Sebastian Saraceno of "Pit Boss" with Some Canine Co-Stars

He’s shared the screen with Tinseltown’s top stars in Bedtime Stories and When In Rome, performed small screen skits on Jimmy Kimmel Live and The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and donned elf ears for appearances in Capital One and Verizon Wireless commercials, but no doubt the role closest to Sebastian Saraceno’s heart is that of champion to a breed badgered by a bad rap as part of Shorty’s Pit Bull Rescue.

Having adopted a Chow/Labrador mix from a south Florida Humane Society during his college days, Saraceno– the entertainment coordinator for Shortywood Productions– has no trouble bonding with both Geisha and Hercules, the barking buddies of “Shorty” Rossi, his boss for the past seven years, as well as the Rovers he helps to rescue through Shorty’s organization.

To watch Shorty’s Pit Bull Rescue in action, tune in to Pit Boss on Animal Planet Saturdays at 10 p.m. Eastern/9p.m. central. To find out more about Shortywood Productions and Shorty’s Rescue:
