Steelers’ Hines Ward Judges Dog Bowl

It may not have been his team’s year to try for Super Bowl glory, but on Feb. 4, 2010 Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Hines Ward enjoyed cheering on the Rovers vying for victory in Dog Bowl 2010: Touchdown Treats Championship, hosted by Hill’s® Science Diet.
As co-judge of the canine competition, #86 sat on the sidelines as 75 talented tail-waggers tackled a range of football tricks. The competition was also judged by veteran trainer and competition judge Tracy Hanna, and Miami radio personality DJ Eddie-E with Y100.
At the end of the canine competition, the football field finesse of a West Highland Terrier named Hope (photo, right) earned her human parent two tickets to Super Bowl XLIV.
Diva (photo, top), an Australian Shepherd mix, won a year’s supply of Simple Essentials Treats as the second place pooch.
The darling dog below who donned a Steelers jersey took home the “Best Personality” award and an autographed jersey from the event’s sports star judge.
