“Ugly Betty” Star Michael Urie Attends Dog Event

Dressed in a tiny sweater, Sprouts was a fashionable Fido when she attended Chef Michael’s “Be My Valentine” Doggie Dinner Party at New York City’s Gotham Hall on February 10, 2010 with her TV star Poppa, “Ugly Betty” cast member Michael Urie.
The bubbly Brussels Griffon–a rescue who became a part of the actor’s life thanks to Bernadette Peters– got the chance to chow down on Chef Michael’s canine cuisine during the star-studded soiree held to celebrate the winner of the “My Doggie Valentine” contest. The contest required pet parents passionate about their pups to send in color photos of their four-legged friends along with a caption expressing why their dog is their Valentine. For each eligible entry, Chef Michael’s donated $10 to Adopt-a-Pet.com, for a total of $7,500 given to the charity.
