He may be accustomed to making TV viewers’ hearts race faster each week as Dr. Sam Bennett on the ABC series Private Practice, but when actor Taye Diggs read from the ALPO® Real Dogs Eat Meat Handbook he left his fans of the four-legged variety positively drooling over his performance.
Held at The Chelsea Market in the Meatpacking District of Manhattan, a roundup of Rovers gave the star their rapt attention as they listened to excepts from ALPO®’s tome for tail-waggers, which features pearls of puppy wisdom from 20 “paw-thors.” The actor had no trouble bonding with his new barking buddies– Diggs is a doting Dad to a dog dubbed Sammy Davis Jr. (seen with his paparazzi magnet parent in the photo above) and to two cool jazz cats called Ella and Coltrane.
