Stars Celebrating MTV Movie Awards Help To Donate Food For Dogs

Rovers in rescue shelters across the US will enjoy a taste of the good life thanks to Tinseltown stars and CESAR Canine Cuisine. In anticipation of the 2010 MTV Movie Awards the stars were invited to Kari Feinstein’s pre-event Style Lounge, where they not only received some pre-show pampering with transcendental spa treatments and complimentary swag bags filled with the latest tend-setting fashions, travel and beauty gifts, they also paused to help a cause close to the heart of all who are passionate about pets.
For each famous face that stopped by the event’s CESAR® Canine Cuisine Lounge, not only did that celebrity receive CESAR® Canine Cuisine Entrees for their own fur babies, but their presence prompted the donation of 200 gourmet canine entrees to dogs in need from each star’s local hometown. By the end of the two-day event more than 24,000 entrees were donated to our four-legged friends around the country.
Among the plethora of good-hearted glitterati who mingled at The Montage in Beverly Hills June 3-4, 2010 were:
- Academy Award winner Adrien Brody, actor Thomas Jane, Entourage star Kevin Conolly and Desperate Housewives cast member Neil McDonough, who each specified the shelter that would be the beneficiaries of their donations.
- Matt Gerald from the box office bonanza Avatar, who is now the proud owner of a special package of CESAR® gourmet dog food which bears the face of his barking buddy on the label, created for the canine-loving star at the event.
- Entourage stars Kevin Dillon, Emmanuelle Chriqui and Dania Ramirez, who took the time to step away from the camera during a day of filming their hit HBO series to make an appearance, which meant 600 more meals for rescue dogs.
- Marlow, the toy fox terrier chum of Twilight‘s visionary vampire Ashley Greene, will get to sink her teeth into a tasty treat when Greene opens one of the CESAR Canine Cuisine entrees she picked up at the lounge.
- The world’s first supermodel Janice Dickinson has walked catwalks around the globe, and during this dog-devoted do the reality personality confided that she would walk into the lounge 1,000 times if it meant more food for Fidos.
