Tokyo Police Club’s single “Wait Up (Boots of Danger)” from their recently released CD Champ is music to the ears of animal lovers in more ways than one. Fans of the Canadian indie band can receive the video, an mp3 of the Dom remix of the song and a never-before-heard RAC remix of “Wait Up (Boots of Danger)” by making a donation to the ASPCA® via the widgets on Stereogum.com and the group’s official website, TokyoPoliceClub.com. 100% of each sale will be donated to the ASPCA®.
The idea to include a band of frolicking Fidos (all tail-waggers from a Toronto suburb) in the Mike Juneau-directed music video was the vision of the group’s members, all of whom are passionate about pets. The antics of the pool-partying pooches were supervised by Jennifer Segal from “Dog Training That Works.”
