Vote in Smitty’s Favorite Pet Organization Contest

A dog who has lost his family due to economic hardship and a boy who has lost his way in life form a friendship that leads to a new lease on life for both in the upcoming family-friendly flick Smitty, which stars Academy Award winners Mira Sorvino and Louis Gossett Jr., Peter Fonda, Twilight cast member BooBoo Stewart and newcomer Brandon Tyler Russell.

The movie’s theme of second chances will not only touch the hearts of ticket holders, but will resonate in the lives of rescue Rovers everywhere through its promotion of pet adoption.

Smitty’s Favorite Pet Organization Contest

Your favorite shelter or rescue site might receive “star status” in Smitty! Find out how:
• One lucky animal organization will win the opportunity to spread their own message in Smitty.  The rescue site or shelter that accumulates the most votes in Smitty’s Favorite Pet Organization contest, going on now through October 1, 2010, will be featured in a poster placement in the feature film.
• Once a pet rescue foundation has accumulated a minimum of 50 votes, it is elegibile to win one of the random prize drawings for pet supplies.
• Organizations which receive at least 25 votes will receive a Smitty movie poster.
• Rescue organizations with the most votes will receive tickets to the premiere of Smitty.
• The top 10 vote receivers will be recognized in the Smitty DVD Special Feature.
