“Pit Boss” Films Anti-Dog Fighting PSA

In the ongoing struggle against animal abuse, Shorty Rossi and his Pit Boss crew recently joined forces with mixed martial artist Frank Shamrock for a no holds barred PSA that shines a spotlight on the horrors of dog fighting.

The popular Animal Planet personality and the MMA great have followed in the footsteps of Olympic gold medal-winning boxer Andre Ward, former UFC light heavyweight champion Tito Ortiz, former UFC heavyweight champion Andrei “The Pit Bull” Ariovski and others. These athletic luminaries have all stepped out of the ring and in front of the camera to voice their opposition to violence against dogs and their support for a non-profit organization which fights the good fight for Fidos.

Making a difference in the lives of both dogs and at-risk adolescents, Knock Out Dog Fighting offers youth intervention programs which not only emphasizes the need to cease the cycle of dog abuse, but also provides positive role models and alternatives to destructive activities. At Pit Bull training classes, teens learn that dogs truly are man’s best friend.
