When it comes to celebrity online auctions, Cesar Millan & Friends leads the pack. The auction, which runs through November 5, 2010, was established to raise funds for The Millan Foundation’s continued efforts to rescue, rehabilitate and re-home dogs in dire need. Pet lovers can bid on a bevy of items ranging from exotic destination vacations and VIP experiences (including tours with The Dog Whisperer) to pet products, gift baskets, a multitude of sports memorabilia and an array of celebrity collectibles.
Following are just a few of the donated items:
- Dig up inside scoop on a private set tour of the FOX crime drama Bones, hosted by the executive producer of the series, Barry Josephson.
- Marley & Me star Owen Wilson autographed an action shot with his own Spot. The 13 X19 b&w image can also be seen in the David Woo book “Top Dogs and Their Pets.”
- A high winning bid would be music to the ears of the singers who signed their names to their donated items. Country crooner Pat Green cuddles his canine companion in an autographed photo, while Steve Miller and B.J. Thomas posed with a plethora of pets for their signed pix.
- An autographed picture of heroic pilot Chelsey “Sully” Sullenberger and a four-pawed pal will have spirits soaring.
- Sports stars love Spots, a evidenced by the photo of football great Roger Stauback with his Fido. Tom Brady added his John Hancock to a New England Patriots jersey, while baseball stars Toby Hall of the Texas Rangers and MBA player Gabe Gross donated signed baseballs, Andrew Bynum of the Los Angeles Lakers autographed a basketball and teammate Pau Gasol signed a Lakers jersey.
- Pro rodeo enthusiasts can bid on an autographed photo of king of the Cowboys (and former Dancing with the Stars contestant) Ty Murray atop a horse.
- For fans of felines, former Olympic gymnastics champion Carly Patterson‘s autographed picture with a purring pal is the cat’s meow.
- Golfing great Byron Nelson posed with an equine companion for his autographed portrait, while legend on the links Kathy Whitmore and her darling dog smiled for the camera for her autographed image.

- Add a hint of Hollywood to your house with an autographed photo of silver screen siren Jacqueline Bissett or small screen icon Loni Anderson.
- It will come as no surprise to fans of French Bulldogs that comedian Ron White has two dogs from the breed often referred to as the clowns of the canine world. White’s fur babies posed with the cigar-chomping funnyman for a signed photo.
- For people who are passionate about pups and politics, there are black and white photos of former Presidents George Bush Sr., George W. Bush and former First Lady Barbara Bush with their barking buddies.
- Daytime drama stars showed their devotion for dogs by autographing a Young and the Restless script. Signatures include that of actors Peter Bergman, Sharon Case, Judith Chapman, Doug Davidson, Stacy Haiduk, Christel Khalil, Christian Leblanc, Kate Kinder, Joshua Morrow, Billy Miller, Michael Muhney, Greg Rikaart and Maura West.
