Peter Fonda Promotes Adopt-A-Dog Month

In the upcoming family flick Smitty, Peter Fonda portrays a farmer in America’s heartland who gets a second chance with his estranged family when he gives a shelter dog a second chance at life. In real life, the iconic actor recently took on a role that will melt the heart of pet parents as he stepped in front of the camera to promote the American Humane Association’s Adopt-A-Dog Month® campaign, taking place in October.
The Academy Award-nominated star expounds on the joys of bringing a barking buddy into your life in the following PSA, which also features snippets from the soon-to-be released movie, Smitty.
