Rachael Ray Donates To Animal Shelters

She may be known for introducing tasty recipes to foodie fans, but this holiday season celebrity chef Rachael Ray is also providing sustenance for the soul for people who are passionate about pets.
Until December 31, 2010, the dynamic daytime TV personality is donating 100% of the proceeds from both her Nutrish pet food and Just 6 treats (up to $775,000 total) to animal shelters of all sizes across the country.
In addition, People magazine reports that the cuisine queen will also be sponsoring pop-up adoption events for the no-kill shelters in the hopes that Fidos and felines will find their forever families.
