Having climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro for Comic Relief, spoken up in the See Something, Say Something anti-bullying campaign, and having accepted the role of ambassador for the Help a London Child charity, fans of Strictly Come Dancing judge Alesha Dixon have known for a long time that her heart is in the right place. Now the singer/reality star is wearing her heart not on her sleeve, but rather on her shirt to show her support for PDSA’s efforts to raise funds for three new pet hospitals.
The former member of the British girl group Mis-Teeq modeled I Love Dogs and I Love Cats T-shirts from moreTvicar.com, which is donating £5 from the sale of each T-shirt to PDSA. The shirt’s statements mirror Dixon’s own devotion to her furry family members. The entertainer is the proud pet parent of three dogs named Roxy, Rosy and Daisy, and she formerly had a feline friend.
Available in either white or grey marl, the T-shirts– which sell for £15.99 each– showcase the smiling faces of two vintage cartoon characters who are close to the heart of anyone who watched their animated antics as children in the 1970′s– Roobarb, a green dog, and Custard, a pink cat. The T’s are available in women’s sizes 8 – 16 and men sizes S -XXL.
