What I Love About Kaleigh: Kaleigh came to us in a sort of Serendipitous way, and at the worst time! We already had a dog, and were “in between homes”, waiting to close on a house we had just bought. Essentially, we were temporarily homeless! My husband had to stop by his brothers for one reason or another, I decided to wait in the van. He comes back out his brothers six month old puppy. Lance told me that his brother had asked him to “get rid of the dog”, he couldn’t handle her. I asked my husband what he intended to do? Take her to the Humane Society. Needless to say, we did not take her to the humane society, and instead chose to give her the love and patience she deserved. Once she figured out we were for keeps (we found out later that in her first six months, she’d been passed around at least four times) she was easily trained, and has been our princess ever since. What I love most about Kaleigh, is that I believe she is cosmically meant to be a part of our family.
