My Dog: Indiana: 6-month-old male
Some Clues : Hi, I’m Indiana. I was rescued in North Carolina and sent to my new home in Arlington, VA. Everyone said I was a lab, german shepherd, beagle mix, but within a week, my new family knew otherwise. I have the back hair of a german shepherd, but I hate to swim, get cold easily, love to sit in the hot sun, think retrieving is waay less fun than chasing, am very stubborn when you first get to know me, am always hungry, and can find a dead bird under any bush. My favorite thing in the whole world to do is to hike and explore with my pack and although I am only 46 pounds at 7 months, I am a ferocious challenger at tug of war. You can even swing me around by my grip completely off the ground – I will never drop it! I am also incredible with my front paws, so watch out or I’ll crawl right up your stomach while you swing me! Don’t worry, I’m just playing. I’m as sweet as gentle as can be any other time, esp. around kids and other dogs – though I love to play.
