Adoptable Dog of the Day: Miracle in Texas
April 25, 2011 by Paris Permenter and John Bigley
Filed under Dog of Day

Miracle is a dog who has made an amazing recovery, both physically and emotionally. This young, deaf dog arrived at the Montgomery County Animal Shelter with a bad case of mange and was very scared. Volunteers at the shelter contacted the Pure Mutts Animal Sanctuary, a special rescue specializing in sick and injured dogs.
Today, after treatment, Miracle has a beautiful white coat. This girl who previously was afraid to be touched now loves attention and is an energetic and playful pup who loves people and other dogs! She loves to play in the fountain and is a fast learner; she’d do great with a family willing to help her learn some sign language commands. She’s ready for a forever home!
