Adoptable Dogs of the Day: Dakota & Choctaw in Nevada

Dakota

Choctaw

Today’s Adoptable Dog of the Day is actually a twosome! Choctaw and Dakota are a bonded pair of Native American Indian dogs. This male-female pair, who came from a breeder in Colorado, wound up in a Los Angeles animal shelter. They are now with Nevada-based Safe Haven Kennel and are looking for a forever home together.

Both Dakota, the female, and Choctaw, the male, are well socialized and were raised with small dogs and children. Both are very strong dogs and need some work  on leash training. Lake Tahoe Wolf Rescue has volunteered to help Safe Haven Kennel place these dogs in a loving home.
