Adoptable Dog of the Day: Biggie in Missouri

As we wrote about earlier today, we’ve decided to do “themed” posts here in our Adoptable Dog of the Day section and on Tuesdays we’ll feature small dogs in search of a good home. On Facebook earlier today, we saw this cutie on the fan page for Fix Your Images Photography, a professional pet photographer in Kansas City who also takes photos for PAWS, the Protective Animal Welfare Society where this little guy is currently residing.
This is Biggie, a three- to five-year-old Silky Terrier or Yorkie. Biggie was found one morning inside a completely fenced yard, apparently having been dumped there the night before. Luckily, the fellow who found Biggie is a dog lover and found this rescue to take him in.
Biggie isn’t letting the whole experience bring him down; this seven-pound cutie loves to play with other dogs and is just looking for a forever home of his own. He seems to have had some previous housetraining, he’s neutered, and he’s up-to-date on all his shots. He’s ready to go home!
