Adoptable Dog of the Day: Cherri in Ohio

Cherri is a young (9 – 11 months) Hound/Australian Shepherd mix who has had her share of misfortunes. She was born with “cherry eye” and she spent time in a kill shelter before being rescued. She is currently being cared for at the Pets Without Parents no-kill shelter in Columbus, Ohio. Fortunately, she has had surgery to correct her eye problem and is now healthy and happy.

Cherri is up to date on all her shots, spayed and is working hard to become house trained. Pets Without Parents recommends that she be adopted into a home without small children.

Cherri will probably grow to be 40 – 50 pounds when she is grown, so we are designating her our “Large Adoptable Dog of the Day.” The video above shows her playing with her sister, Kiwi who has already been adopted.  As you can see from the video, she is energetic and playful.  Now Cherri is wishing for her own permanent home. We know there is just the right person out there to make her wish come true!
