Adoptable Dog of the Day: Faith in Monticello, MN

Faith is a sweet young Australian Cattle Dog (Blue Heeler) who was born blind. She is in the care of Homeward Bound K9 Rescue in Monticello, Minnesota. Despite her handicap, Faith is a full-bore Blue Heeler: energetic, a bit “pushy” about geting her own way, but is happy and otherwise, healthy. She is reported to be very “social” enjoying the company of humans, other dogs, and even kittens!

Faith is looking for a forever home with special people who are experienced in providing the kind of guidance and exercise which her breed requires. She will do best in a stable environment where the boundaries are well established. For the right person, Faith will blossom into a wonderful pet!

(Editor’s note: Faith reminds us of our beloved Alby, a Blue Heeler, who we lost in 2007. Alby was an awesome dog, loving, loyal, smart and brave. Blue Heelers are great!)

Faith is already spayed, wormed, is up to date on her puppy shots and well on her way to being house trained. When she is adopted, she will be microchipped as well.
