Adoptable Dog of the Day: Cisco in Bondurant, IA
July 6, 2011 by Paris Permenter and John Bigley
Filed under Dog of Day

Cisco is a 3 year-old Greyhound who “retired” from his racing days after suffering a broken leg. Although his leg has now healed and Cisco can run again, he is still deemed special-needs because he occasionally suffers from seizures. Since December, 2010, he has been on medication to control his seizures and it seems to be working, with no incidents since then. Cisco is currently in the care of Heartland Greyhound Adoption in Bondurant, Iowa.
He is a lovable companion to his foster family and their other dogs. He is neutered, house trained, and is up to date on routine vaccinations. When he is adopted, Cisco will also be microchipped. Now that his racing days are done, Cisco is just looking to make someone a loyal, loving pet!
