Adoptable Dog of the Day: Shasta in Georgia

Shasta is a senior female American Bulldog looking for a loving home for her retirement years. She is about 9 years old and was rescued from a bad situation and is under the care of Georgia Canine Rescue and Rehabilitation of Cochran, Georgia. She has been there about a year and has now regained her health and is heartworm-free. She is fine with other dogs (unless they are aggressive toward her) but she does tend to chase after cats. Shasta is great around people including small children. As befits her advancing years, Shasta sleeps a lot.

Shasta is spayed, up to date with her shots including heartworm preventative, and is house, leash and crate trained. She is also microchipped and comes with free, 30-day health insurance. After the rough life Shasta has led, she deserves the attention she will receive in a loving home.
