Adoptable Dog of the Day: Jasper in Connecticut

Jasper, currently under the care of the Meriden Humane Society in Meriden, Connecticut, is DogTipper’s Special Needs Adoptable Dog of the Day. Why is Jasper a special needs dog? Physically, he is tip top but he has had to endure being abandoned several times in his short life. As a result, this Yorkie/Jack Russell Terrier mix is a fearful little guy. He is afraid of many things including bikes, hats, and brooms. Because of this, the folks at the Meriden Humane Society would like to place him in a peaceful home where he can be an “only dog” (no cats, other dogs, or children).
Once those conditions are met, Jasper will become the loving, happy, playful dog he was destined to be. Who will give this needy boy his chance?
Jasper is neutered, up to date with his shots and is house trained.
