Adoptable Dog of the Day: Princess in Alabama
September 1, 2011 by Paris Permenter and John Bigley
Filed under Dog of Day

Princess is a gentle, shy, senior Schnauzer under the care of Schnauzer Love Rescue Inc. of Birmingham, Alabama. She is about 10 years old and weighs 18 pounds. Princess was probably a puppy mill mother dog who spent much of her life in a cage, so she is a bit hesitant about new experiences. A quiet, calm home is what she needs for her retirement years.
Princess is currently being fostered in Nashville, Tennessee. In addition to the contact information below, you can also email her foster mom, Laura Kelley.
Princess is spayed, up to date on her shots, and on heart worm and flea preventative.
She is friendly to other dogs and is house and crate trained. Despite her age, she is still learning to be a pet and will benefit from careful attention and patience. Such a sweet girl deserves a chance to be happy!
