Age of Adoptable Dog: 11 years
Breed: Collie mix
What Makes This Dog Special: He is 45 lbs. of affection! He does have a disability regarding his front left leg/shoulder which causes him to walk and run with a moderate limp. While this does not seem to bother him, it is painful to him when he twists the wrong way or plays with other dogs, etc. He does also appear to have a bit of separation anxiety which his foster family is working to overcome. He likes to go on walks and is a relatively good walker on a leash. He is good at large gatherings and does not seem to be concerned about all of the activity going on around him during these events. Tyler is a senior dog who needs somebody to take a leap of faith and give him a second chance … is it you?
What Kind of Household Would be Best for this Dog?: He is housebroken and good with dogs, cats, and kids … though his foster family says it’s best that the kitties not run from him! He would make a good companion for an experienced dog owner with the time to spend with him in order to get him acclimated to his new surroundings.
