Adoptable Dog of the Day: Hazel in Louisiana

Hazel is an adult Poodle who was rescued along with 11 other Poodles from a grim existence in a crowded, dirty trailer. Now, she is is foster care sponsored by the Lake Area Partnership for Animal Welfare (LAPAW) Animal Rescue in Lake Charles, LA.
Hazel is between 4 and 6 years old and, as you can see from her photos, she is now clean, healthy and ready to find her forever home. Since being rescued, Hazel has been tested for heartworms and found to be negative and she is up to date on her routine shots, too. She is gradually learning to trust humans and is becoming a great lap dog.
Hazel is spayed, crate trained and paper trained (she’s working on perfecting her house training). Hazel will make a wonderful companion for her forever family!
