What Makes This Dog Special: Winnie is a very sweet adult female Pit Bull Terrier who is currently under the care of the All Breed Rescue and Adoption in Griffith, Indiana. Winnie loves to be with people and she gets along with other dogs and cats, as well. She weighs about 50 pounds but still sometimes thinks she is a lap dog. Her adoption fee is reduced so that her new owner can continue training with her. Winnie is spayed, up to date on her shots, and is house trained. Winnie will make a loyal family member when she finds her forever home!
What Kind of Household Would be Best for this Dog?: Winnie would love a house without any other pets and someone who can be there for her in the evenings. She does well in a crate during normal 8-5 work hours, but LOVES to cuddle during TV time. She’s been known to jump a fence to talk to her neighbor, so she’s on a lead in a fenced in yard, which would be best.
